Ford Explorer Steering Wheel Sizes by Year

Ford Explorer steering-wheel diameters in this catalog are 14.0 or 15.0 inches, depending on the listed year or configuration. The catalog covers years 1999 through 2022, but the facts provided do not identify which diameter applies to each year, engine, or trim. Use the table to check the entry for the specific Explorer you are researching rather than assuming one size fits every model.

The diameter figures describe the steering wheel’s size; they are not a steering-system or tire measurement. A listed value may vary across catalog years or configurations, and the available facts do not explain the reasons for those differences. If the table does not show a figure for your vehicle, or you need to verify a fitment, confirm the measurement on the door jamb or in the owner’s manual.
