Defective striker plate which was used to hold the door in event of a crash, spun around, causing door not to close properly. In event of a crash door may fly open. Manufacturer said that striker plate was suppose to stay in place when the door was shut. *ak

Consumer feels this is unsafe, and there may be a problem with the air bag system.
