Side/Window
Side air bags are attached to the bottom rear center of the seat back. This placement allows the wires to be damaged by the feet of the rear seat occupant setting a trouble code and disableing the air bag system ! I am a mechanic and found this on an explorer i was working on today.*ak

This truck has overdrive problems. When you put it in rev and then drive most times it will cut the overdrive off, but not all the time. Rear passenger door will not open from inside. Airbag light goes on and starts blinking then goes off for a while then back on. The power steering makes noise on a hard right or left turn.
