In 2015, ford charged me more than $700 to make the repairs necessary to eliminate exhaust fumes in the car. They had a known fix at that time, but still charged me for the repair.

While driving to work, exhaust fumes in my car nearly put me to sleep. I took it to my ford dealership to find the problem, and learned that ford has a service bulletin to correct this issue, so they have been aware of this problem. This should have been a safety related recall, but instead i must pay $885.00 to repair this known safety issue.

My 2012 ford explorer leaks from the 3rd row seatbelt. It has ruined the carpet in the back and molded it. It also filled up the spare tire area with water and rusted the rim of the spare tire and the inside where the tire sits. I did not notice this until many months after i bought it because i wasn't using the 3rd row at the time.

Strong exhaust (burning oil smell) coming into cabin under medium to high acceleration through ventilation ( ac on) . The smell permeates the car and burns your nostrils. I could smell it for quite some time even after existing the vehicle (as the smell remains in my nose). Even felt a bit lightheaded after existing the vehicle.
