Engine exhaust enters vehicle interior when rpms go over 3,000 and continues to come into the cabin throughout most trips. It disapates a bit when the air vents are shut and all air (heating/ac) is turned off completely. The overwhelming smell has created a dangerous driving environment in the vehicle which can only be driven with the windows open.

When accelerating quickly (i.e. To pass someone) within a few seconds the cabin fills with a sulfur/rotten egg smell that lingers for about a minute. The smell is so noticeable and pungent that my small children complain of the smell.
