2001 Ford Explorer Tire Sizes
The 2001 Ford Explorer tire sizes listed here are 235/70R16, 235/75R15, and 255/70R16. These are tire-size options for the vehicle, not a single size that applies to every Explorer.
The listed sizes vary by year or trim, but the available facts do not identify which size goes with a particular trim or equipment configuration. Confirm the correct size for your Explorer on the driver’s door-jamb tire label or in the owner’s manual before replacing tires.
Use the size shown for your specific vehicle rather than choosing among the listed options based on appearance. If your door-jamb label or owner’s manual shows a figure not listed here, follow the vehicle’s documentation.
